Den nya versionen, RTLS 4.1, innehåller en hel del förbättringar av säkerheten och noggrannheten. Ekahau har också förbättrat en del av de verktyg man kan använda för att optimera funktionen i en lösning.

We are happy to inform you that a new version of Ekahau RTLS has been released introducing several new features for Ekahau Positioning Engine (EPE), Ekahau Location Survey (ELS) and Ekahau Activator T301. In addition, Ekahau Finder has been upgraded to version 2.5
The upgrade is included in the Ekahau Support Package so there is no extra charge. Please find the list of new features and information for downloading the upgrades below.
Ekahau Positioning Engine
• Full support for Ekahau T301-A tag features including:
- WPA2-PSK encryption key from T301 configuration form
- Motion sensor (motion and after-motion events)
- Tamper sensor
- LED and buzzer activation
• Automatically binds access point MAC addresses to represent a single physical AP for improved tracking accuracy.
- Support for all major AP vendors Cisco, Aruba, Trapeze, Nortel, Symbol, Motorola
• Performance-optimized location tracking algorithm
Ekahau Location Survey
• Automatically binds access point MAC addresses to represent a single physical AP for improved tracking accuracy
• Accuracy statistics: Measures accuracy numerically (Average, 90%, Zone) for the whole model, per map, and per survey
• T301 Survey: Verify T301’s accuracy by making test surveys. Also useful for troubleshooting
• Replace AP: If an AP is broken and has been replaced, just type in the MAC of the new AP, and no re-calibration (or modifying the project file by hand) is required
• Location Quality Visualization: See Location Quality as a heat map
• Other minor improvements
- New shortcuts for zoom in/out: Ctrl-Arrow up, Ctrl-Arrow down
- Improved zoom functionality and map centering
- Zoom in/out options available in context menu with the Edit tool
- Channels selected for scanning are now saved
- Merging survey projects and deleting maps possible
